Frequently asked questions

How does Boggle scoring work?
In standard Boggle, 3 and 4-letter words score 1 point, 5-letter words score 2, 6-letter words score 3, 7-letter words score 5, and 8+ letter words score 11 points.
What is the QU tile?
In Boggle, there is no separate Q and U tile. Instead the Q tile always shows QU and counts as two letters for word finding purposes.
Do letters have to be adjacent?
Yes — in Boggle, each letter in a word must be adjacent (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) to the previous letter. This finder checks adjacency properly.
